وأشارت المصادر ذاتها، أن الجنرال الوراق الذي تدرج في العديد من المناصب العسكرية المهمة إلى أن وصل إلى هذا الرتبة المهمة في الجيش، حظي باستقبال ملكي بالقصر الملكي بالدار البيضاء.
ويعتبر الجنرال الوراق، ابن منطقة الشاوية، من بين الضباط الذين خبروا المنطقة الجنوبية حيث تقلد بها عدة مسؤوليات، كما يعد من بين الضباط الذين تولوا مسؤوليات داخل القيادة العامة للقوات المسلحة الملكية.
وكان الجنرال دوكور دارمي بوشعيب عروب قد تعرض مؤخرا لوعكة صحية تطلبت إدخاله المستشفى لتلقي العلاج.
