قالت شرطة لندن إنها اعتقلت اليوم الأحد 12 شخصا لصلتهم بهجوم جسر لندن الذي أودى بحياة سبعة أشخاص و إصابة 48 آخرين أمس السبت.
وقال البيان “اعتقل ضباط قيادة مكافحة الإرهاب في العاصمة هذا الصباح الموافق الأحد الرابع من يونيو 12 شخصا في باركينغ بشرق لندن فيما يتصل بهجومي الليلة الماضية في جسر لندن ومنطقة بورو ماركت. عملية التفتيش لعدد من المباني في باركينغ مستمرة”.
وقال مصور من رويترز إن الشرطة أخرجت أربع نساء من شقق سكنية في باركينج بشرق لندن اليوم الأحد مع إعلان القبض على 12 شخصا من المنطقة.
وأضاف المصور الذي كان في المكان أن رجال الشرطة اصطحبوا النساء الأربع، اللائي كن يغطين وجوههن أثناء مغادرتهن المبنى، إلى سيارات فان تابعة للشرطة وغادروا المكان.
وكانت شبكة “سكاي نيوز″ الإخبارية نقلت عن مصادر لم تكشف عن هوياتها إن الشرطة داهمت مسكنا في شرق لندن كان يستخدمه أحد المهاجمين الثلاثة الذين قتلوا سبعة أشخاص في وسط المدينة.
وقالت الشرطة إنها تنظر في تقارير إعلامية تربط بين المداهمة وهجوم مساء أمس السبت عندما قاد ثلاثة مهاجمين شاحنة صغيرة بسرعة كبيرة ودهسوا المارة على جسر لندن قبل أن يطعنوا آخرين في شوارع قريبة. ولم تؤكد الشرطة وجود صلة بين الواقعتين.
وذكرت “سكاي نيوز″ كذلك إن السلطات ألقت القبض على أربعة رجال وامرأة أثناء المداهمة في باركينغ في شرق لندن والتي نفذتها قوات شرطة مسلحة في الساعة السابعة صباحا.
ونقلت وكالة “رويترز″ عن شاهد أن هناك تواجدا أمنيا كبيرا في شرق لندن وتطويق رجال الشرطة لمبنى سكني في حين كان سكان مباني أخرى يتابعون ما يحدث من شرفات منازلهم.
وقال شاهد عيان للمداهمة لـ”سكاي نيوز″: إنه سمع دوي عدة انفجارات أثناء العملية وعلم فيما بعد أنها انفجارات محكومة استخدمت للتمكن من دخول المبنى
